Aare

The Aare is the longest river that flows entirely within Switzerland. It rises in the Bernese Alps at the Oberaar Glacier, feeds famous lakes such as Lake Brienz, Lake Thun and Lake Biel, and flows into the Rhine near Koblenz after a course of around 288 kilometres.
