About this restaurant

The Aarebad Muri restaurant (a garden restaurant with a kiosk) is renowned far beyond the town’s boundaries: As well as classic swimming pool snacks (such as chips or burgers) and fresh Bircher muesli, the restaurant serves popular Asian specialities such as homemade spring rolls, curry dumplings, fried noodles and crispy duck.

Arrival & Parking

Public Transport

Take the bus (line 40) to the ‘Muri bei Bern, Waldried’ stop.
From there, a signposted footpath takes about 8 to 10 minutes on foot (approx. 600–750 metres) down to the Aarebad.
Alternatively, the lido can also be reached from Muri bei Bern railway station via a footpath.

Car

There are no public parking spaces available directly next to the swimming pool. Motorists should use the large car park on Wehrliau.

Parking

Motorists can use the large car park on the Wehrliau (subject to a charge all year round), from which a short walk (approx. 10 mins) leads directly to the entrance to the Aarebad.
