We are looking for a dedicated individual to lead swimming lessons for children and adults at the Hallenbad AG Burgdorf swimming school and to run swimming training sessions at the Burgdorf Swimming Club (SCBU), with a focus on working with children and young athletes on a daily basis.
Your responsibilities
- Running children’s swimming courses based on the Swimsports system, as well as front crawl courses for adults
- Standing in for swimming lessons at all levels
- Planning and delivering training sessions at Burgdorf Swimming Club, contributing to the Swimming Technical Committee (TEKO SCBU) and occasionally accompanying athletes to competitions
- Ensuring a safe and motivating training and course environment
- Regular communication with swimmers, parents and the SCBU coaching team
- Minor administrative tasks
Your profile
- You teach and coach children and young people with great enthusiasm and enjoyment
- You already have experience as a children’s course leader and/or coach
- Relevant qualifications in swimming (at least Swimming Coach A or Bronze Coach, or a willingness to obtain these)
- Ability to work in a team, reliability and strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work at weekends as well
- Very good command of German, with the ability to communicate effectively with children, young people and adults.
