The modern Burgdorf indoor swimming pool offers year-round swimming, sport and wellness facilities for young and old alike, right on the banks of the River Emme. As well as facilities for sports training and swimming lessons, a varied sauna area invites visitors to relax and unwind.

Rules

Warning

  • Children under the age of 7 may only enter if accompanied by someone aged 16 or over.
  • Children under the age of 12 who are not accompanied by an adult must leave the swimming pool by 6.00 pm.

Lifeguard

Water Safety Check WSC

Children (aged 8 to 12) who are not accompanied by an adult may only enter the indoor swimming pool if they hold a valid Water Safety Certificate (WSC). The WSC must always be presented at reception.

From Burgdorf Central Station, take bus 165 “Hasle-Rüegsau/Tschameri” / 168 “Fischermätteli/Lueg” / 462 “Oberburg-Geissrütti” and 467 “Burgdorf Spital”, and get off at the “Hallenbad” bus stop.

On foot / Bicycle

Walk It takes about 10 minutes to reach us from Burgdorf main station. Enjoy a short walk past the Coop Centre, heading straight towards the Burgdorf indoor swimming pool.

Cycling There is a cycle park right in front of the outdoor pool where you can leave your bikes.

Car

It is possible to travel by car.

Please note that the car parks in front of the Burgdorf indoor swimming pool are public and subject to a charge. Parking spaces may be in short supply directly in front of the indoor swimming pool, particularly in the evenings and at weekends.

  • Further public car parks are located at the Coop Schützenmatte and next to the former Landi (about a 3-minute walk)
