About this Badi

The wellness area at the Burgdorf Indoor Swimming Pool is a relaxing oasis of well-being right on the banks of the River Emme. With a variety of saunas, steam rooms and relaxation areas, the pool offers the ideal retreat for relaxation and rejuvenation of both body and mind.

The wellness area is a nude zone and is divided into three sections; Wellness 1 is reserved for women, whilst Wellness 2 & Plus is always open to all genders.

The barrel sauna remains closed throughout the summer season.

During the winter months, you can enjoy a sauna at the Burgdorf Indoor Swimming Pool’s wellness centre, even outdoors in the open air. You can relax in a special atmosphere inside the four-metre-long wooden barrel. Access to the barrel sauna is via the mixed-use wellness area and is included in the wellness admission ticket.

From Burgdorf main station, take bus 165 “Hasle-Rüegsau/Tschameri” / 168 “Fischermätteli/Lueg” / 462 “Oberburg-Geissrütti” and 467 “Burgdorf Spital”, and get off at the “Hallenbad” bus stop.

On foot / Bicycle

Walk It takes about 10 minutes to reach us from Burgdorf main station. Enjoy a short walk past the Coop Centre, heading straight towards the Burgdorf indoor swimming pool.

Cycling There is a cycle park right in front of the outdoor pool where you can leave your bikes.

Car

  • It is possible to travel by car.
  • Please note that the car parks in front of the Burgdorf indoor swimming pool are public and subject to a charge. Parking may be limited directly in front of the indoor swimming pool, particularly in the evenings and at weekends.

  • There are public and pay-and-display car parks directly in front of the outdoor/indoor swimming pool
  • Further public car parks are located at the Coop Schützenmatte and next to the former Landi (about a 3-minute walk)
