The Badi Glarus in Ygruben is the Glarus municipality’s public outdoor swimming pool and has been in operation for over a hundred years: the municipal assembly approved the construction of the swimming pool in October 1921. The facility on Ygrubenstrasse is run by the municipality; since 2025, the PRO BADI GLARUS association has been involved in its operation and runs the Badi kiosk. Swimmers will find a 50-metre swimming pool, a non-swimmers’ pool and a paddling pool, a lazy river, and 1-metre and 3-metre diving platforms. The facilities are complemented by a sunbathing lawn, a playground, table tennis tables and the kiosk. The season usually runs from mid-May to mid-September.
